The Groundhog will run again at Moorpark High School on Saturday February 3rd, 2018 during Moorpark’s 6th annual premier road race and one-mile fun run. NEW IN 2018: 10k Race!

Benefiting Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs, the Groundhog Day event consists of three runs. Starting and ending on the track at the high school, the 5K is a fast, chip timed road race with an exciting finish in the beautiful Moorpark High School stadium. Our new 10k follows the same course as the 5k before adding two laps on the new trail at Arroyo Vista Park.  All ages and abilities are welcome including walkers and strollers.

There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all.    Registration fees include a performance t-shirt for all runners.

Post-race festivities include the awards ceremony with medals for the top three finishers in each age group, raffle prizes, refreshments and local vendors.

We hope you can join us for Moorpark's only road race which directly benefits the amazing cross country and track teams at Moorpark High School!
